Race 4: REAL TORQUE (9, Tony Herlihy), mob. 2200m: “Having tie-up trouble but seems better and can upset.”

Race 5: DELIGHTFUL MEMPHIS (5, Blair Orange), mob. 2200m: “Seems as good as she has been but whether that’s good enough to beat Spanish Armada we’ll have to wait and see. We get our chance anyway.”

Race 7: SENORITA MARGARITA (1, Blair Orange), 2600m std: “Stand start a question but is in the right field.”

“Kowhai Whiz is racing good and can place.”

“Master Lavros seems great and its a good race for him.”

Race 9: TORRID BROMAC (5), mob. 2600m: “Went good and wasn’t far away on Boxing Day in a 2:54 run (2400m) at Ashburton. Should be hard to beat.”

Race 11: OUR QUINN (10), mob. 2000m: “Having his second race back after an eight-month layoff so likely improver. Rough place maybe.”
