ADDINGTON, FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 6
RACE 1 KOWHAI SUNDOWN (13, fr. U3, 2600m stand) Stephen McNally -“He’s back to the unruly after a couple of mistakes this time in. Needs to get that early bit right. Place is best,” said Mark.
RACE 4 NAIYA FRANCO (13, 15m, U1, 2600m stand) Blair Orange -“She is trying the standing start. Has been quite busy and maybe just nearing the end of it this campaign. That Met Multiplier isn’t far off so she will pick that up eventually. Probably just a place show here.”
RACE 10 SHE’S A DAGG (7, fr. 1980m mob) Robbie Close -“A sister to Izzy Dagg. She hadn’t done much until her recent trial when she was much better. One I don’t mind but we do find a tough race first up and she will be better with a little more time.”
WINTON, SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 8
RACE 2 JAMIES BAD BOY (9, fr. 2400m mob) Ben Laughton & PLUTONIUM LADY (12, fr.) Blair Orange -“Jamies Bad Boy went OK at Forbury and might get a chance on the markers from the back row draw. Looks a place chance with that sort of run. Plutonium Lady is a lot better than an indifferent formline would suggest. A good trial since last racing when she was unlucky and I’d expect her to be very hard to beat here.”
RACE 7 UPTOWN LADY (2, fr. 2400m stand) Blair Orange -“She is being vetted for sale to the USA on Friday. Pending that she may or may not start here. She will head down if we haven’t finalised anything. The stand start suits and the way the handicaps are I think she could beat most there, U May Cullect probably aside.”
