Race 4: KOWHAI SUNRISE (3, Michelle Neilson), UR 1, & ASTRAPI (7, Blair Orange), 3, 10m, 2600m std: “Kowhai Sunrise is having her last start as off to be a mother. Needs to do things right.

“Astrapi went good on Thursday. If he backs up on that form will be a chance again.”

Race 5: PERISSA (7, Steve O’Brien) & GOODNESS GRACIOUS ME (9, Blair Orange), mob. 1950m: “Perissa was given every chance last start and is racing good.”

“Goodness Gracious Me was in season last week so has been treated. She seems better and on her best form should be the one to beat.”

Race 7: JOHNNY FOX (5, Blair Orange), 2, 25m, 2600m std: “He’s racing super and trialled up good on the weekend. Its a small field and the handicap makes it tough but he’s a big chance.”

Race 9: SMOKE N FIRE (5, Michelle Neilson) & I GET AROUND (10, Blair Orange), mob. 2000m: “Smoke N Fire has come on since her first run. Is drawn ok and can upset with the right trip.”

“I Get Around went very good first-up and should have improved. If they go mad, she can figure.”
