Race 6: TUXEDO MAX (12, Blair Orange), mob. 1950m: “I am pretty happy with his work but is drawn bad, with Zin Zan (the one to beat) drawn good. Mine should be a great each-way chance.”

Race 7: EASTBURN MARA (12, Mark), mob. 2600m: “Won fresh-up but is drawn bad here so looking for luck up in class.”

Race 10: OASIS DREAM (9, Blair Orange), mob. 2600m: “Looking at my draws I’ve run over a Chinaman! This horse had a flat tyre last week but he’s in the right field to be a winning chance.”

Outside drives

Race 3: WHOOSH FACTOR (9), mob. 2600m: “Ran on quite good at the Rangiora workouts when I drove him a couple of weeks ago but will need a bit of luck from the outside draw.”

Race 5: SUPREME GEM (6), mob. 1609m: “Makes it very hard from the outside of the front row over the mile at Addington but she’s in the right race (C0-5 mares). Should be improved by her first-up run last week so could place.”
