Race 1: ROCKIN CULLEN (2, Mark), mob. 1609m: “Fresh-up for stable but has shown a bit at home and trialled nice last week. From the good draw should find the front and be a strong each-way chance but there are few nice horses in there with race form.”
Race 4: EASTBURN MARA (4, Mark), mob. 2600m: :Racing ok but in a tough grade but can place in this field.”
Race 6: EXPRESSO MARTINI (2, Mark), mob. 1950m: “Looking to qualify for Silver as the blue with grey stars are too good in this field!”
Race 7: TUXEDO MAX (10, Blair Orange), 3, 10m, & FAIR DINKUM BROMAC (13, Kimberly Butt), 6, 10m, 2600m std: “He’s racing great and super drive from Blair on Sunday. With the right trip can get some of it again.”
“Fair Dinkum Bromac was rewarded with placing last start and if he gets easy run will be competitive.”

Race 1: HELLAVAHANOVER (14, Blair Orange), UR 1, 2200m std: “Fresh-up and her trial was only average last week so looking for improvement. Bit tough off 20 chasing all the way, so outside top 4 chance.”
Race 3: ASTRAPI (6, Blair Orange) & LADY MACKENDON (SCR), 2200m std: “The race suits Astrapi and I have changed a few things. Wouldn’t surprise me if he upset.”
“Lady Mackendon’s been sold so scratched.”
Race 9: STRIKE ON COMMAND (5, Blair Orange), 2200m std: “No good on grass last week but is back to his favourite track and a good each-way chance.”
Race 10: MACHS A FLYIN (1, Kimberly Butt), mob. 2200m: “If he can hold the front he would be a good each-way bet dropping back in grade.”
ASHBURTON TC, Monday, October 27
Eyre I Come, broke early when he trialled at Ashburton on Tuesday. Resumes raceday first-up for the stable at Ashburton on Monday.
Race 1: EYRE I COME (8), UR 3, 2400m std: “Galloped at trials but a horse I have a fair bit of time for. Will be in desperate need of run and hope manners are alright but a top 4 chance.”
